Starting tomorrow, Let’s Go! will be dedicating a special series of blogs to providing families and caregivers with tips, resources and information to help keep your kids safe and healthy this summer… and have fun doing it! We know that sometimes summer challenges and distractions come up that make it a little too easy to set aside healthy eating and physical activity. Sunburns, and bug bites, and scrapes – oh my! But let’s face it, summer is the perfect time to pick up healthy habits. The weather is warmer, fresh fruits and vegetables are everywhere, and there are endless opportunities to get outside and explore. And as a parent myself, I know how much I appreciate the great night’s sleep that a day of playing outside brings to our family! So all summer long we’ll be blogging with your summer experience in mind, giving you ideas and how-to’s that will help make eating healthy and staying active a little easier and a lot more fun!
